Sasha Lace Lockamy is a contemporary artist creating vibrant, expressive paintings inspired by faith, nature, people, and the beauty of everyday life. Her work combines bold color, energetic brushwork, layered textures, and intuitive mark-making, moving freely between recognizable imagery and abstraction. Each painting is an exploration of color, feeling, and connection—inviting the viewer to pause, experience, and discover their own meaning within the work. Sasha's paintings bring a sense of joy, movement, and wonder to the spaces they inhabit.
Sasha's story
Sasha is a Texas-based contemporary artist whose work is a celebration of the beauty found within God’s creations. Her creative ability is lifelong, an innate ability she was gifted with and was inherited from her mother.
By day, Sasha is a Geodata Engineer and a dedicated systems thinker. This analytical background contrasts her approach to her creative process. In her studio, she works intuitively with music on, building a history on the canvas through many distinct layers of acrylic paint and mixed media. Her work is characterized by a playful, spirited aesthetic intended to uplift the viewer.
Her work has earned honorable mentions in Round Rock Arts and Culture exhibits and led to an exclusive, year-and-a-half-long residency at Mi Mundo Coffee. Sasha currently has an exhibit (October 2026 - March 2027) on display for viewing and purchase at the Williamson County Art Gallery in Georgetown, Texas. The exhibit will be refreshed on a monthly basis.
